Forgot I Had One Of These...
So, yeah really haven't been on here and a bit, ma bad Things are good, final tests are just around the corner My Oral Proficiency Interview (or OPI for short) is next week Thursday. Got Listening and Reading Tests on the Monday and Tuesday after that, so hopefully all will end up well. Let's see, ah yes, my car. Runs good, finally got used to the whole stick shift (took awhile) Would like to repaint it to black or blue or something, cause when i think white, four dour, honda civic... I think "girl car" Also may look into grabbing some new speakers down the road, put that King Kong in my trunk. So definately missing home, of course. May be home for Memorial Day weekend, mainly for my Grandpa's and Maeg's B-day partys, and of course to visit the rest of ya'll that are lucky enough to still be my friends :) Right now, basketball season is good, we're 2nd in our division, 3rd in the league, with playoffs right around the corner. Still an Airmen Leader, and a matter of fact, I get a rank promotion at the end of July. My title thus becoming "Senior Airmen" After I graduate from here, I'll drive down in our little convoy of 4 cars down to Texas and prolly only be there for a good month, month and a half. After that head off to Survival School training in Washington State, where there'll be plenty of running, hiding, beatings, killing cute bunnies :( , and eating of those cute bunnies. Then after a month of that, I'll head on over to Offit AFB in Nebraska, where I'll finally start my job, woot! So, for those of you who cared to know what's going on with me and what's to come, there ya have it. I hope to see ya'll soon (before Christmas break god willing) and keep in touch. Let me know what's up. If you can't make it out Thursday, I'm home 'till the fourth so give me a rang or hit me up on here or myspace. lataz! Day of the Turkey, Day of Crazy Shopping, And The Days to Come
Thanksgiving was good. Drove with Mandy to The Del Monte Center (Monterey's equilvalent to Lakeside) only to relize everything but starbucks is closed. So that was a bust, just came back and putzed around until it was time to head over to a mutal friend, Moore's house. Alot of married people, met a few new peeps, had some good eats, (of course I beat everyone out on GAC: Gross Amount Consumed) Day after, not that bad actually. Only we didn't go to the crazy busy stores. Took Mandy to go shopping, she spent crazy amount of cash on stuff. Treated her to Lunch, and she hooked me up with some Starbucks. Headed to Target and grab some groceries for the house and headed back. Putzed around until we busted out to my buddy's going away bonfire. Beer = Happy Andy :) Didn't get too drunk... nah i went the route of the baby bear: not too sober, not too drunk, juuuuust right :) So we grabbed a hotel, poor sober sheila, ah well that what she gets for being innocent. Woke up in the middle of night, gave myself a self-sobriety test, all set to go. Drove home, ahhhhh my own bed. gotta love it. Though had to wake up the next morning and pick up the "still a bit drunk" friends of mine. Grabbed some breakfast with the crew, drove them to their cribs, and head back home. Dreading today, i have this crazy thing that i for some stupid reason volunteered for at four. I have to march all these new and people being punished to do clean up work all over the base. After that, I have about an hour before i have dormitory guard for four hours: 10 to 2 am. So looking forward to all that jazz. Sunday, day of rest. Want to see that new Bond movie. We'll see. Turkey Day Weekend
So this week for class, we only had 3 days to deal with. Though two of them were days packed full of tests. Wednesday was crazy hard, listening and reading. Ugggh. But I think I did aight. Wednesday night I did a bunch of crap, only not really. Like I did a bunch of menial stuff: Got to play basketball, Woot!! First time in about 5 months, been too busy with soccer and football season. Felt really good though, and I still got the skills. After that hit the punching bag. Definatly hit the spot. Unprevoked drama, hard to avoid but when you got a punching bag, fun to release. Not only that, few things here and there that have kind of faded away. Starting to get used to it though. But once in awhile, it hits hard and that's when the punching bag comes in. Ran back home, showered, got a car for this weekend, woot! Drove around and just reflected some more, just this time not hitting shyt lol. Music while driving is key. Came back, pool while doing some laundry. Hits me, this is the first night in awhile where i've been by myself and just chilled, did my own thing. Good to have one of those once in awhile. Can't wait to come home. Sister and step mom have had some tiffs here and there and played mediator. Welcome to the grand ol' time of 18 amanda lol. Miss her though, and rachel. Which reminds me, I have to go christmas shopping sometime soon. Kinda weird cause I have no idea when I get home who I'll be cool, hanging out with when I get home. Like, people who I would buy gifts for before, kinda just blew away. Anywho... Home is less than a month around the corner. Can't wait. Alot of friends I've made here are up and leaving, done with class and stuff. Weird to think that I may never see them again. Eh, that's something about the Air Force that one has to adjust to. Happy Turkey Day to all, and to all, a good fat ol' belly full of food. | | Thursday, October 26th, 2006 | | 12:26 pm |

Home Sweet Home
Feels good to be home ladies and gents. Flew in last saturday and headed straight from the airport to my lil sister's soccer game. She won 1 to nothing. Go her! She's kinda timid when she plays, but she'll pick up at it. She's got that Prescott energy!!! After the game, me and the family got together and ate at Good ol' Red Robin. That was a good time; though something bugs me everytime i'm either on the phone with family or friends or even face to face. I have to keep repeating information that I've said in the past over and over and over and over again. For ex: Everytime I see family, they always ask me "Oh, so you're still in california... that's cool. WHERE DO YOU GO AFTER THAT" My god, no joke, I've told just about every single family memeber the same ol' speech about 88 times by now. CRAZY!!! But, it still feels good to see 'em all. After dinner on saturday, Kristina picked me up and I headed over to her house to hang out with her and her sister. Her birthday was on the 25th so it was cool to hang out and catch up a bit. Saw her 'rents as well, both fine and dandy. Always good to hang w/ the briggs fam. Next day, Lunch and Costume browsing with Kristina and Lisa. Aparetnly, everyone has this image of me, like i'm some "ladies man" and all that hub-bub. That's all fine and dandy, but i have a very vital question if i'm to succeed in the role of a ladies man "WHERE ARE ALL MY LADIES?!?!?!?" What, did they lose their way? Having trouble finding the place? I don't know. I don't have a problem with people thinking that, I just wish it were true and I'd be living it up. Sun, mon, and tuesday have been mostly family. Treated my pops to the Jackass #2 movie. Friggin' hilarious of course. Those guys are insane, but hey, anything for a lil' entertainment right? Getting ready to head over to george's and then tomorrow Zoo and watching "Lost" witht the family. Haven't talked to maegan in about maybe 2 weeks now. Something's wrong with her phone, just hope it gets all settled before i leave. If not... well, this trip will have lost some of it's value. I BETTER SEE U PUNK!!! | | Sunday, July 23rd, 2006 | | 11:29 pm |

Had a great weekend: Friday: Concert -The Subways -Head Automatica** -Angels A Airwaves** -Taking Back Sunday **Freaking Awesome!! Saturday: Volunteered at The Read Bull Moto GP Races in Laguna Seca. Took a whole bunch of pictures with goreous promoter girls. Got a crazy dark tan. Had a good time with my peeps. Hopefully there'll be more entries with here in it **crosses fingers**. Excellent wheather this weekend. Finally look like I belong in Cali. 'Bout time the sun came out to play. Asked out Beth, just a simple movie, I'll keep ya'll updated on that situation. Not this monday, but next monday, our team's first game in soccer. Practice has been going steady, and we're actually a well put together little team. I predict we'll get 2nd or 3rd overall in the end. Ouchies... Round 2
Friday night went to Marie's appartment with good friend Luc and him and I had a good time. It was cool meeting all her friends and a few of of her brothers. Woke up on Saturday after crashing their for the night. Came back to base and made an apptment to get waxed. Three friends from class came along and actually got it all on tape with Rory's camera. Got the whole front done. Not only that but the girl who was doing it was this gorgeous blonde who was like smoothly ripping (how do you like that for an oxymoron) my hair out 1,000 folicles at a time. After all said and done, I manned up to the challenge, dare, whatever you want to call it. But didn't leave empty handed. Ah yes, the humerous memory of my first waxing and a girl's number to boot. Not bad for a "hair-ripping" good time. Current Mood: naughtyCurrent Music: Over Seasons - Authority Zero (Love these guys) | | Thursday, March 16th, 2006 | | 7:31 pm |

I'm Not A Player I Just Crush Alot... BOOOYAKASHA
Been awhile. Be home in about 1 week 2 days from now. Excitement is the word for it all. Can't wait. Hopefully my peeps can squeeze me into their busy schedules. Today crazy thing happened. We had "Visitors" (i.e. important people from hight up, Command Seargant Majors of the Army and Officers of all ranks.) No pressure right, hah! Well supposedly our section, class B, is the Flagship of ME 1 (Middle Eastern School, there are three, ME 2 and ME 3) and they showed our little class of 10 off to these V.I.P.'s. Well, 3rd hour rolls around and The Comand Seargant Major of the Army comes with a Major, and some other lower ranking Seargants. Well he plops a seat next to me and I was told by our Cheif Military Training Leader that I'M TO TRANSLATE FOR HIM!!! Well, this was quit the shocker, but ya' can't say now to a Major. So our teacher, Ahmed, starts talking and I just starting translating the best I can. Honestly got about 88% of the words cause Ahmed is Sudanese has a little bit of a slir along with his extreme accent. But all went well. At the end of the hour, the seargant stands up and turns to me, shaking my hand saying "Thankyou for what you do here. With what you showed me today, it tells me that there will be a young promising translator such as yourself that I can use in the future. Thankyou." He pulls his hand away and I feel that there was a Military coin in my hand. "United States Army Intelligence: Oustanding Acheivement" is what it said. I was seriously, moved. One of the most coolest things that has happened to me so far in the military and it made me feel proud of what I've become. We Bring You Live To Andy Prescott In The Field... Andy...
... Thanks Jane. We have here an update of my live journal. Lets take a look: Me and the Civilian girlfriend broke up. No real drama excerted there so that was good. Still like to meet up one last time to kinda end things on a good note. Our football team blows lol. We lost one of best players cause of disciplinary issues. Our whole offense was based off the run and now that he's gone we got bum raped the past two games. But on the bright side I play offense now, only, sucks cause we don't win games anymore. Ah well. Just got done with Basketball practice an half hour ago. I'm a shoe in at the shooting guard position. We look pretty good, only the games aren't scheduled to acomidate our own personal schedules so there will be an inconsistancy in that sense. Don't know about the drill team. All but one of my friends quite it or left to go onto their new base. So it's not really as fun anymore, besides I may have to get rid of an elective so that I can contribute more time to class and studying. Had a date with one of my friends last night. Yeah, yeah, I know what your thinking and no. We just went out to dinner and got to know one another a little more. But over all I think the night made us closer friends. Yay for that! Class break is supposed to be March 03 - March 12 but my MLI (Military Learning Instructor) told us that there may be some changes to that. So I have to hold off on buying my tickets which doesn't make them any cheaper. **crosses fingers** Well, Arabic is going fairly well and all is well in the drama dept. 5 More days Left...
I booked my plane ticket tonight, leaving Sunday morning at 5:30. Gah, that'll be tons of fun. Well New Years was fun. Played Taboo and poker @ Mike's and then headed of to Nick Rogers' house after the ball drop and crashed there for the night. It was good to hang with the old crew once again. Day of, some of us went laser tagging, played poker, and saw Kong (second time for me) then I headed over to George's and we did as we always do: Games, bad kung foo movies, and food. Left his house at nine pm tonight and came home to hang with the fam. Hehe, sisters have school tomorrow. Figure I might stop in to say high to some of my teachers, think they'd like that. Well, like I said, five days left 'till I'm shippin' back to California. You would think I would be a little more enthusiastic... I mean come'on California right? Well, I guess you can call me a sucker for friends and family... I'm gonna miss it all. But on a good note, when I get back I have Basketball tryouts and Football playoffs. I'm Home!!!
Phew it feels good to be home finally. The plane ride here was wicked long but I stuck through it and now I'm here. Saw that movie with Ben Aflak and that guy from the Sopranos, it helped pass the time I suppose. My and my sister came to pick me up at the Airport and we cought up on some stuff. We had some Denny's than came home and watched my First Piston's game of the season... sad I know. After that sha-bang, I came down here to my wonderful computer that I've missed these past nine months or however long it's been. Tomorrow some last minute shopping then hopefully see some of my peeps. Give me a call or e-mail or comment if anyone wants to get together while I'm home. L8erz. Three More Days...
... 'till I'm home. I'm bored out of my mind. So here are some funny, yet useless, random facts I found. More Monopoly money is printed yearly than real money throughout the world. "Almost" is the longest word in the English language with all the letters in alphabetical order. "Speak of the Devil" is short for "Speak of the Devil and he shall come". It was believed that if you spoke about the Devil it would attract his attention. That's why when you're talking about someone and they show up people say "Speak of the Devil." 10 percent of all human beings ever born are alive at this very moment. 111, 111, 111 X 111, 111, 111 = 12, 345, 678, 987, 654, 321 315 entries in Webster's 1996 dictionary were misspelled. One in ten people live on an island Chewing gum while peeling onions will keep you from crying A "hairbreadth away" is 1/48 of an inch. A "jiffy" is actually a proper time unit for 1/100th of a second A acre of coffee trees can produce up to 10,000 pounds of coffee cherries. That amounts to approximately 2000 pounds of beans after hulling or milling. A bee could travel 4 million miles at 7 mph on the energy it would obtain from 1 gallon of nectar, or it could just sit down on and enjoy that honey properly. A bowling pin only needs to tilt 7.5 degrees to fall. A broken clock is right at least twice a day. A Chicago law forbids eating in a place that is on fire. A day on the planet Mercury is twice as long as its year. A fly always jumps backwards for a quick getaway when you try to hit it. A giant squid has eyes that can grow up to 20 inches in diameter. (Now think of how big your computer screen is..) A hippopotamus can run faster than a man can. And....I'm spent. Well that was fun. I'm gonna go and sleep. L8er. Four More Days
Yep that's right four more days b*tches. I thought this day would never come. The Marine Staff Seargant in my class is sitting right next to me: "Give me a shout out to all my peeps in my blog yo'" says he. He's from the south and I guess that live journals or "Blogs" are not very popular down there. So I guess Mrs. McCowen (can't spell sorry) is having a little get together at her lovely abode the night I get back. I'd love to say I'll be there but I can't make any promisses due to the fact that I am no longer in the possession of my own motor vehicle and I won't get to my house until midnight, midnight thirty. But let's cross our fingers. I spent my weekend with my good friend Maegan and her pops. It was good times, felt good to see someone from home. We took pictures, saw some sights, ate at some buffets, played some ski ball, and watched some movies. My plane ride back was delayed 4 hours which sucked monkey nuts because I was looking forward to spending time with my Marie but that wasn't happening. So in compensation... they gave me two bags of peanuts instead of one. Other than that, Arabic is going swell, Football team is at 5 wins and 3 losses, I'm the co-coreographer for the Air Force Drill team, and that's about it.
